Who reviews our care and content
Clinical decisions and the health and wellness content on this website are overseen by the ElevateMD Clinical Team — board-certified, U.S.-licensed physicians who provide care through ElevateMD. As a matter of practice and patient privacy, we present our physicians as a team rather than naming individuals; all clinical authority rests with licensed physicians.
Every clinical decision about your care — whether treatment is appropriate, what to prescribe, and when to follow up — is made by a licensed physician, not by software and not by non-clinical staff.
How clinical decisions are reviewed
A physician on the ElevateMD Clinical Team reviews the health information you submit during intake to evaluate whether treatment is clinically appropriate for you. The physician may approve treatment, request additional information, recommend an alternative, or decline to treat. This documented review is the clinical foundation for any decision we make about your care.
How our website content is reviewed
Educational content on this website — articles, condition and treatment explanations, and FAQs — is drafted by our content team and reviewed for clinical accuracy under the direction of the ElevateMD Clinical Team before it is published. Content is intended for general education and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your own physician.
Our sourcing standard
When we make a clinical or scientific claim, we aim to ground it in credible sources — primarily peer-reviewed medical literature, along with guidance from recognized professional and governmental health bodies. We strive to distinguish established evidence from emerging or preliminary findings, and to avoid overstating what the science supports.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Health information is general; individual results vary, and you should make decisions about your own care with a qualified clinician.
Review cadence and “last updated”
We review our published health content periodically and when relevant evidence, guidance, or regulations change. Where practical, we show an effective or last-updated date so you can see how current a page is. The presence of a date reflects our review practice; it does not guarantee that every detail reflects the very latest research at the moment you read it.
Corrections
We take accuracy seriously. If you believe something on this website is inaccurate or out of date, please tell us at [email protected] with the page address (URL) and the specific concern. We review correction requests and update content when warranted.
Note: this corrections process is for website content. Questions about your personal medical care should be directed to your ElevateMD physician through your patient account, and emergencies should always go to 911.
